kharris: Yeah I’m the same. I purchased a yearly subscription but I haven’t been able to use it at all for 2 months. They offered free neon but there is nothing on there I’m interested in so I don’t use it. If I’m subscribed to live sport but sky don’t supply live sport then why do should I have to pay for that? Surely the CGA would say the product does not fit its intended purpose over that period?

Thanks to @SeymourScagnetti aka Alex for reaching out to me. I appreciate you assistance.

New offer of $25/month for six months just came through on email.  Tempted to take that up, it's the price I think it should be around.

I wonder who this pass is being offered to. It isn’t available as a standard pass on the website. The monthly pass is still 49.99 and the yearly pass is still 39.99 pm. Seems a bit unfair as that is a significant discount.

I bought this with the $25 offer, plugged into lan with fibre at 200mb and getting buffering is this normal? Does it matter what you stream it from?

Anyone have issues with this on a Samsung TV? All works fine on my ipad, but just get a black screen and spinning circle on the TV.  On demand highlights don't load either.

TV is hardwired to 2D gigabit fibre, no issues with other smart apps.

Thanks.

I re-subbed with the NRL deal (great deal by the way).

Playing on my ATV and the NRL is looking a little juddery. Is Sky still steaming in 50fps as opposed to 60? I might need to play with the ATV settings but its a pain as it then makes every other app look worse

I watched the first half through another option was crystal clear , swapped over at half time to sky watched it on Apple TV and Samsung app it was really under par compared to first half. I ended up switching back . I really want to support nz but sky really needs to lift their game on digital quality.

Sky will always stream at 50 FPS. Why would they stream at 60? It would zero sense when literally 99% of their content is native 25FPS / 50FPS

He may be referring to the framerate discrepancy between Sky Go and Sky Sport Now, which as far as I know has not been resolved yet.
