it’s happening for me too hasn’t stopped for about 15 minutes but very low quality
If I restart the stream it’s crystal clear but then freezes

Least you can watch it on a native app. It's not working on my Samsung TV, and cant get it to work at all, so having to resort to the unofficial kodi add-on. Tech support couldn't help getting the TV app to work, so stuck with it for now (although it does work ok to be fair).

This was happening to me a couple of weeks ago. I hasn’t happened since I upgraded to the latest version of tvOS. Might be a coincidence but worth a go, try upgrading.

The NRL final was pretty good for me but earlier on saturday afternoon the mitre 10 cup games were pausing and freezing about 6-8 times per game. Closing and reopening the app works well.

I don't know whether to persevere with it now....

First they need to sort the buffer health, id up it to 20 seconds.

Second they need to make it actually on demand. Not wait 8 hours for them to load the game if you are 5 mins late to a game.

3rd , ux is horrible.

4th, 4k 60hz should be a given in 2020,

Until they fix that, I'm pirating.

I think the key word is bundle, it wont affect the SSN that people are having issues with, it appears to be a billing change only.

Your 4k 60hz statement is nonsense for live sports broadcasts. It is, and will remain for sometime, a niche requirement. The rest of your post is reasonable.

EPL is filmed in 4K (obviously another platform)

NFL / NBA / (some) MLS, PGA, MLB world series all filmed in 4K

and in AU:

RWC was 4K plus:

Last time I tried to watch a rugby game 20 mins after it it had finished, I could not find the game on the service for 8 hours.

I just roll back in the guide to the start of the game and click watch (android tv)
