Talkiet: Seems a shame to have this thread with it's depressing title bumped by people saying that it's actually working pretty well for them :-)

Cheers - N

Heh. C'est la vie.

I have a bit of pausing, mostly at the beginning of shows which seems to settle down somewhat. Having said that, it's completely unusable for me right now.

Using Airplay from my iPad, really wish that there was Chromecast support, Airplay seems clunky by comparison. Tried to cast from Chrome, picture was fine but sound came out of my laptop, so that was a fail.

I think my pausing problems could be caused by the Dnsmasq configuration in my router forwarding DNS requests to Unotelly. I'll fiddle with the configuration to see if I can redirect the specific requests to Spark's DNS servers.

iPad and Airplay is the best, most fluid solution, and since Silverlight was adjusted at Lightbox's end, thats been good too. Your issue should be at your end so hope the config changes succeed.

Yup, forcing all hosts to Spark's DNS server fixes the problem. Of course it also stops Hulu, iPlayer, 4oD etc.. ho hum. Time for some changes :)

Yep it's like your video is travelling around the globe before it ends in your end which is of course an exagerration :p

You may wish to rephrase your last sentence, after all, this is a family show!

Fixed it so everything works (fingers crosses). Lightbox is now smooth as, Chromecast's still work, Hulu, iPlayer etc all good. And I'm no longer redirecting most requests to Unotelly.

Not sure if this is helpful to anyone, but here is my config. I'm intercepting all DNS requests and redirecting to the Spark with the following site and device specific exceptions:

dhcp-mac=set:altdns,D0:E7:82:C5:76:4C # Chromecast 1
dhcp-mac=set:altdns,6C:AD:F8:54:F0:DC # Chromecast 2
dhcp-mac=set:altdns,50:1A:C5:60:26:D2 # XBox
dhcp-mac=set:altdns,58:55:CA:10:95:1A # Apple TV
dhcp-mac=set:altdns,F8:D0:AC:E5:6B:F4 # PS3

# Set Alternate DNS
dhcp-option=tag:altdns,option:dns-server,103.6.212.24,54.252.112.136

I'm still getting kicked from episodes half way through them.  It happens more frequently now than in the beta.

Spark customer; VDSL; vanilla windows 7 set up.

I am trying to watch Break Bad Season 4 Episode 4, it is constantly buffering.  Audio and video sometimes out of sync as well.

On Spark VDSL, using Spark DNS, on Windows 8.1, Firefox version 31.

Anyone having problem now?

I did a speed test to Spark, getting 52Mbps down and 10Mbps up, so not a problem with the broadband itself.

Yeah, we're currently seeing some streaming issues.

We have all hands on deck, working out what's going on.

OK, we believe we've corrected the issue.

Love to hear whether the problems have gone away?

Not for me, still getting booted out of episodes (Vikings).  Maybe it's my PC.  I've only got 2gbs of ram but do have a capable graphics card.  Hard to know.

Last post here, I'll send an email via the Lightbox home page in the future.

Lightbox appears to be down.  Error message is:" unauthorised token is missing in token map."
