herbthedragon:kharris: It’s available on neon in HD 2.0 for $5.99 or on Google play in HD 5.1 for $6.99.
Yeah again, sub par. Netflix and Amazon Prime stream in 4K with Dolby ATMOS.
Please let Neon know your complaints. The squeaky wheel gets the grease - as it were.

kiwiace:I thought its a pretty great collection of HBO content for $9.99 a month.
I wonder how long they get to keep the HBO stuff exclusive, and what other future content ideas they have.

A few other annoyed people as well.

No one thought to test this before launching it?
I love the wailing and gnashing of teeth in this article - "I was unaware that my NEON watch list would disappear after the merger. Only my Lightbox watchlist is in place. Also confused about my subscription," and "I was fully subscribed to NEON but also had a free Lightbox account thru Spark, all using the same email address. I don't see a change in my subscription price however when I go to my account info."
You didn't read any of the comms sent about this? I didn't subscribe to either platform and even I knew what was happening. Got sent the email to my an email address which once upon a time had a Lightbox account.

Only the two biggest on the planets to compare too. There are many other platforms that don’t deliver that. I think HD with 5.1 would be acceptable for now. I’m not sure why they are streaming in stereo. Surely they play things on Soho and sky movies in 5.1?
Yep, I'd subscribe to it if had DD5.1. I'm happy with picture on Neon and Lightbox.
They do 5.1 through the Satellite service, but even with Sky Decoders all streaming products are 2 channel. SkyGo is two channel as well.
There are movies on Neon that are not on SkyGo and vice a versa, so it's not a mirror of the Sky Movie package.
I count around 188 movies, and there's about 30 coming soon, considering they are mainly recent movies and looks like decent turn around would be happy with that, for me it's the lack of 5.1.
I don't know if it's a technical barrier, cost or the skeptic in me thinks they don't want Neon to compete with the decoder service.

Still baffled why there isn't an Xbox one app. Xbox is running a cut down version of windows it shouldn't be hard to port it over.
Watched an episode of Quiz last night with Apple TV app and twice the audio just cut out but pausing and then resuming would bring the audio back. Never seen this before when using the Lightbox app but hopefully is just a teething issue and sorted soon...
As asked earlier in this thread...has anyone managed to load/sideload Neon on a Nvidia Shield?
Tried numerous APKs with no luck. Installed on ATV but haven't tried my Mi Box(still unboxed).
I don't want to start the 7 day trial to see if my wife likes it until it's running properly.

My old Lightbox apk updated the app to Neon BUT the container is still branded as lightbox (spark used self updating containers as well as google play updates).. I need to extract from my Sony TV and try side loading and see if it works...

Has anyone else noticed that downloading episodes doesn't work in the iPhone app? When you request a download it shows a progress bar as if it's downloading but when you're offline it refuses to play, reporting that the download failed. You can't make a second attempt to download because it reports that you have 'reached the download limit for this episode'.
