Hae just wondering
i can receive sky sport 1 on my tv but only the audio and not picture.
can i use my sky decoder to decode the picture

sky decoder? what do u mean? a sky satelite decoder? if so then no.
U will need a uhf sky decoder that has an active subscription. Arnt they turning these off soon?? (or already have?)

Not with a digital decoder. Only if you hire a UHF decoder as well. There are other nefarious ways of getting it using a computer, but I don't think this is the place to get into it here.

It's really a moot point, as they are slowly shutting down the UHF signal nationwide.

Yes JohnstonDJ, that's right. They've been progressively changing the last of their UHF subscribers over to Satellite for the last six months. I understand that the "switch off" day is 31st January 2010.

looking foward to them going away so I can move a couple of my modulators out of the cable band and get them on all the tvs, not just the cable ready ones...
