Called Expertinfotech this evening and they have stock of both arriving tomorrow, was due today but delayed which i totally believe at this time of year

thanks.

I have placed an order for pickup and payment from store so will see if they email me tomorrow to say its ready

Have you had your orders confirmed yet?

One other thing I noticed, there is no 'what's in the box' section on the Expert Infotech website page. Do you know if it comes with the dash charger and cables etc?

Surely the dash charger won't be in NZ format, but might have an adapter chucked in?

Yes, that's what you would expect, however there is no mention on the einfo site that the dash charger + cable is included at all.

I would expect that they do, however they will also supply with either another charger (as they legally have to do) or an adapter plug.

However if you want a dash charger with a NZ plug look up jbhifi and look for "VOOC" these use the same tech as the dash charger and are about $30.  Don't buy the cables from JB hifi however as they are micro USB

I see Expert Infotech are now selling. Come on @NikT !

We're trying to get a better price, $900 for the 64GB isn't good enough (bearing in mind PB bundles both an NZ wall charger + a convertor for dash charging).

Any updates on PBTech @NikT. So eager to get one before Christmas :)

Flat pins, looks like US plug

Still hopeful, but it really depends how quickly the price moves. We don't want to have to sell the 64GB for $900+. :)

So to give you all an idea of battery life.  Took it off charge last night around 9pm, left it over night in DND (notification light enabled) and woke up at 4.30am, battery was down to 97%.

Busy day at work however I have email, twitter, facebook, facebook messenger, work email etc all syncing with push and also bluetooth to my watch.  Left work at 2pm and it was still on 75% with about an hour of screen time.

Charged it on the way home in the car and it went from 75% to 98% in 30 minutes.  Got to the gym @ 2.30pm and had spotify playing to bluetooth headphones for 1.5 hours and looking at stuff between sets currently sitting at 81% with 30 minutes screen time @ 5.55pm.

Normally i would not leave my note 8 unplugged over night, take it off the charge at 4.30am - 2pm and would be at about 55%.  So a bit of a difference between the 2 devices

Over all very happy, longer battery life plus really fast charging = happy tripp :)

My 5T arrived today 😁

Unpacking this phone is such a premium experience, other manufacturers could learn alot from OP

One question to the knowledgeable geeks or the... My phone has shipped with HydrogenOS and I want to install OxygenOS, am I correct in thinking it is as easy as downloading Rom and installing via manual update? This will give me essentially the stock international experience for now?

God where did you order it from?  Hydrogen is only in china. You should be able to download OxygenOS from oneplus website and flash it, but i suggest you read up if there is a difference between the hardware or anything funny, XDA should have info or do a google search.

Yes it was Chinese version, hardware is exactly the same, world bands, 128/8Gb etc only difference is hydrogenOS

Anyway, turns out it is as easy as downloading OxygenOS, copying to phone and installing through stock recovery, now running oOS 4.7.6 and loving it
