I was expecting faster stable OS releases. Mine is till on December 2017 security level. Daughter's Nokia 8 is on February 2018 security level and gets two updates a month.

Betas normally get 1 or 2 update a month, stable normally 1 every 3 months or so.  However things always slow down this time of year with them as the Chinese new year throws it all out the window.

Beta has not been updated for over a month now.

Damn, looks like the OP6 will have a Top Notch afterall - bummer.

According the bench marking screen caps I've seen today, it looks to sport a 19:9 aspect ratio.

I wonder how much different it's going to look compared to the Oppo R15.

OnePlus tend to be a lot better CPU and ram then Oppo. Oppo are mid range while OnePlus are flagships

Think I’ll wait the 3-4 months for OP6 now. Will likely have the new snapdragon processor that s9 has and better camera. I can live with a notch.

I'm considering the OP6 as well but might just get the S9 if it gets a fully functional AOSP ROM (thanks to Treble).

It's the beta path.
If you are not on the beta firmware you won't get it for a while.

Ah... People should note this when posting "Downloading!"

You should jump to beta. I have never had an issue with the betas as long as you do a system cache wipe after you update.

Is anyone else having a problem with the stock camera on the OP5T? Recently every now and again I hit the shutter and the camera app crashes and I get 'Unknown error' on the home screen. Seems like there are a few instances on the OP forums of this, but no fix. I contacted their support and they suggested downgrading to OxygenOS 5.0.3, which seems to have reduced the problem but hasn't completely eliminated it. Maybe there's something in 5.1.0. Or perhaps a hardware fault... hmmm...
