Anyone a link to a small stand for an iPhone 6 that will sit on a table or similar for time lapse or timer photos? Don't mean the one that can fit onto a tripod.
Thanks

Have you tried Lego?

Not quite sure whether it will work well on a table, but this product called the Glif looks pretty cool. It is tripod mountable, or works as a "kickstand". Very small and should fit any phone/case etc.

I've put it on my Wishlist. :)

Cheers,
Joseph

Edit. Sorry I now realise you explicitly said not for tripod. It might still be ok. I was wondering if you can use it with the phone on top of it in a horizontal position, but I guess the phone would be wonky. Hmm. Maybe if you had two!

I looked at the Glif, but for $6 USD more I could get this neat one: http://www.shoulderpod.com/shoulderpod-s1/

It can probably do the job as a table stand as well, its got what seems like a better locking solution than the Glif, and even works as a grip.

Ok, that looks much better! I've just ordered one, via YouShop. :)

Just got mine from the U.S. - brilliant and so simple.
Guess they will have them here soon!

Now on my wish list as well, thanks for that!

You can get these sorts of things a lot cheaper off dx.com or ebay, and some will fit onto a normal tripod too. I like those wrapping tripod legs which you can wrap around objects. May not be as durable though, if you are using it a lot.

I received my ShoulderPod today (via YouShop). It's pretty cool.
Am wary of over tightening the thumb screw to, but am happy with how securely it holds the phone.
With the 6+ complete with case installed into ShoulderPod I gave it a pretty vigorous shake (above the couch) and it is secure as. Looking forward to using it in the weekend.

Cheers
Joseph
