Hey Guys,

Will any unlocked phone compatiable with telecoms new UTMS850 network be able to be used?
E.g. will there be prepay SIM cards avilable that we can just pop in like on Vodafone, or will Telecom still have comtrol over who and what connects to it's network like things are currently.

Also what frequency does Vodafone's current GSM network operate on?

Thanks

James

Yes there will be SIM only deals, however with BYO handsets it will most certainly be a best effort service, as in I doubt Telecom will provide you with handset support.
