Howdy all,

Has anyone had any hands on time with the Streak?  I'd be interested in hearing what they think of it compared to the Galaxy S (or even the Desire).

From memory, isnt the streak a tablet? so you're comparing a phone with a tablet.

for a better comparison, it would either be the samsung galaxy s or desire, or the dell streak with the ipad or samsung's new tablet.

- Telstra HTC Touch Pro2 - Energy ROM WM6.5.5 20 Oct/Cyanogen Mod Froyo 2.2 - R.I.P
- AT&T Galaxy S Captivate 16GB on XT (now with brother)
- Samsung Galaxy S2 on XT- Runs ICS 4.0.3 Resurrection Remix 9.2
- Business Hours - Work In The Electricity Industry, After Hours - DJ/Turntablist - Will Scratch Vinyl For Free'
- What's next??? S3?

I think calling it a "tablet" is something on Dell's marketing department can do with a straight face Tongue out

IMO it's definitely a phone.

A damn large phone though. Seems pointless to me at that size - too big to comfortably be a phone and too small to be a tablet

heh.. it's actually the size that I find appealing, as it would actually make viewing stuff on your mobile enjoyable for a change.

When I'm moving about, my current mobile is always in a jacket pocket and I'm almost never without a headset of some kind.  So for me, there really aren't any negatives to the larger size.

I'm quite keen on getting the Streak, but hesitant as I just haven't had my hands on one yet.  So I'm quite keen to hear the impressions of someone who has played with one.

Check out the forums at mobile-review.com - Dogmann over there has posted a review on his one and is very impressed (he's always a fan of large screens).

Thanks for that, it must've been one of the few reviews I hadn't read so far.

I do believe I'm going to have to get one...
