Well I did a silly thing today. As I was coming close to the end of the month with my 2degrees data pack for my iPad and I still had 500MB left I thought I'd pop the microSIM into my Novatel MiFi so I could use the data up on my laptop etc, the frustrating thing is that the adaptor to make the microSIM normal SIM sized has broken 2 pins off the SIM connector on the MiFi! This is really what you call false economy thinking I could use up some spare data that's worth just about nothing and rendering my MiFi useless and needing repair!

By basic question is does anyone know of anyone who could repair this? The SIM connector is easy to get to but I'm not the best at soldering and don't have any spare SIM connectors to swap it with even if I was any good! I'm in Wellington so somewhere around here would be good.

The moral of this story is to be VERY careful when using microSIM adaptors and not to be so cheap that wasting a few hundred MB of data on a plan at the end of your 30 days makes you do something stupid like this!
