What else is in the update? Or is it just this fix?

I just got this problem last night! Seems like I'll have to wait up until the max ten days. Wonder if there is a manual update software button somewhere in the settings. I'll look when I get home.

Just "manually" updated my Tivo. If you go to Settings ->Network ->Connect to the Tivo service now you should get the update. Or wait for your next scheduled connection and it will probably update overnight.

It must be delivered depending on location - I'm in Wellington and tried a manual connection at around 10am and did not get anything.

If it is by region, then no doubt I will be last. Being that I live the bottom of the country and all. We are last to get everything down here Laughing we still can't get broadband in the rural areas, still rely on satellite & wireless service which is slower than bb but faster than dial up. But that is another story for another forum really.

Oh dear, trying to connect manually to the Tivo service on the off chance that we have received the upgrade. However I am now getting "Failed while configuring" This looks promising. Could be due to the heavy set in rain that we have going to at the moment outside which maybe affecting our internet.

Must go now and play around with modems to see if I can fix this.

From 3rd world southland, nah really, its not that bad, all good when everything works. Can't wait for the upgrade though.

Mine upgraded over night here in Dunedin. Now running 11.3b5-01-2-663 & no retuning the TVNZ signal this morning Yay !!! Yet strangely Dads didn't update (also in Dunedin)

I wonder if it had anything to do with me trying to do a manual update yesterday. (it didn't update)

I cant see anything new or different in the update, so guess it was just a fix for the TVNZ problem.

Just a warning for you all. If you are like me and have had this problem, you might also not be able to use TiVo Genie, and/or have missing recordings.

You need to go to Messages and Settings, Channels, and Channel List, and make sure every channel is "Ticked". For some reason my problems with the channel lineup changing message every day somehow left everything unticked which frustratingly affected my recordings...

My TiVo received the update overnight in Wellington. Not that we had any problem before.

Mine has been updated too, glad I don't have to rescan every day.
Good to see a few new movies on there.

there have been a few fixes in it that I noticed when running the beta. one being that, at least for me, transfers between tivo and desktop are much faster. there are a couple of other fixes i can't remember off the top of my head. there are new features coming.
