I've always lived in massive houses and I can't imagine living any other way.

We live in a relatively big house,  But each year - for the past 12 years - we spend a month living on a relatively small yacht
It's a good idea to more than "imagine" a different way of living - IMO.

Living alone in a tiny house is one thing but sharing one is another. Has any one considered the cost to society of climbing divorce and murder rates?

I know we'd be in at least one of those stats!!

Agreed... As I'm at work all day, I'd have no issue parking one of these in a UFB zone and live happily in that much space by myself [more space than I had flat-sharing in London for 7 years(!) ]

But with a wife and 2 kids under five? The converted batch I'm in now is 84 m2 and REALLY tiny and cramped in winter, so currently upgrading to build a 269m2 house on 2 acres that should be just about right :D

Our house is 110 sq metres. Not a 'tiny' house, but not that large either. It has a separate single garage and a shed that I use as a man cave.

Since we purchased it in 2009, I've come up with ways to use the limited space more efficiently. Like a boat or a camper van: they try to use every last bit of space available.
