CYaBro:
Our install started today! 🥳
Awesome! Just in time for the better weather too.

New info display in the Powerwall Companion app for Windows (not supported by Tesla).

The graphic under the battery charge level now has 2 options, graph or flow.
I like this flow view, easier to see where the energy is going in real time.
This is the original graph view:

thats a nice update
Recently found out that if you have PW3 expansion units connected to a PW3 you can charge from your panels at 8kWh instead of 5kWh.
EXCEPT if you are in New Zealand or Australia! 😡

No idea when said future firmware version will materialise.

Going for broke now.
Have reinstated the spa pool.

It's not yet 11am and already tripled yesterdays meager effort.

Imported heaps from the grid yesterday, with heat pumps and spa pool going.

Nice! We've only produced 15.54kWh so far today.
Yesterday was 40.24kWh and it wasn't the best day for solar and imported nothing from the grid. 😁

@richms moving my battery charge rate moan over to here...

@richms , cant see cell details. But one battery was installed late Feb, the other late June. A bit early to be deteriorating??
Not if it's badly made. But has it ever been allowed to get to 100% and sit there on charge for a decent length of time? So many people will not do that because they want to sit in the 20-80% zone so that it never top balances and when they want 100% like for a long trip in their EV or because of incoming storm reports and taking home battery to 100% it takes forever for that last bit just because of the natural variability in cell voltages.
Sunshine allowing, we always strive to charge to 100%. It's a home battery, 2 x Powerwall3. I just presumed it was by design. Screenshot from a month ago, scroll back a tiny bit, shows the same thing was happening early September.

dont worry about the 100% thing, they are designed to be charged to 100% daily, and batteries always take ages to get to 100% as its so hard to force more electrons into them.
Free solar panel wash today.

Ours had a good wash the other day too. 😂
Had our 2 best solar days over the weekend, both Saturday and Sunday produced just over 63kWh.
And we've produced over 1MWh now since the system was turned on, which is less than a month ago.

Since going live late Feb:

We're half way through October already, which looks like it needs to pull its socks up a bit.

Yeah ours is looking pretty average, 1/3 of what we generated last October and 1/2 way through the month.
It does feel like it has rained more than every other day for the last month... in Auckland.

Yes, and once your panels have a spec of lichen on it, the constant water makes it rapidly grow to a massive patch. Will probably give mine a clean in the weekend or the one after as I am seeing a drop on sunny days from last year.
