Just moved into a new (to me) house.

There are a number of things which need doing on the data/voice front and I'm considering paying someone to do it. There are some indications that previous owners did some unusual things with the wiring in the house.

There's some sort of problem with the spark line, complete silence on line, spark diagnostics suggest 'break in line' . Spark will check outside but otherwise want me to pay $140 (at least ?) to come inside.

Am considering getting two runs of ethernet to get data to the more remote parts of the house .

I was thinking that paying a contractor to do the ethernet and whatever needs doing to the phone might be a better spend than just paying Spark to fix the phone.

No idea if this is realistic.

Any recommendations for a contractor in eastern suburbs of Wellington ?
