Can anyone recommend a good cheap source for some 18650 cells, since buying them from o'seas has become difficult with the supposed restrictions on air shipping them, not to mention all the fakes on eBay.

Check ru.nkon.nl they are a reputable site that ships to NZ. I've used them a couple times
