Upgrade completed,

Following first boot got osmc home screen but wireless mouse/keyboard wouldn't work.

Hard rebooted with power cycle and same result.

Went and got wired keyboard and connected and hard reboot again, won't start now.

Getting 4 green flashes and no hdmi output (on tv or lcd monitor w/ hdmi to dvi cable)

Edited config.txt which was blank via sd card reader to ensure hdmi_force_hotplug=1 was set, and tried a few more times but still nothing coming up on screen

According to google, 4 green flashes means start_x.elf not launched

Currently restoring to my SD card backup from before I switched to Leia and will try an upgrade again

Restored from SD backup, confirmed booting again. Re-upgraded to Leia and all happy again & booting. Guessing the previous issue was just a failed upgrade.

Back to the original issue, now it boots again, HLS live streams do seem to be better now. TVNZ1 starts in 6-10 seconds, TVNZ2 in about 10-15, Duke in about 10-15 (last time I tried this it wouldn't even start).

Will continue to test this over the next few days.

Watching the debug log, I see it attempting the streams and when it does TVNZ1 it's pretty quick, but there is a noticeable pause between each entry in the log when trying TVNZ2/Duke.
Just in case that's useful.

@Sn I'd say this is a positive test for your patch as stream startup performance definitely improved from what it was. Current build is 17.8-202

I am not sure if this is a new problem (may be my internet connection) but the streams seem to start dropping audio and then slow to choppy video after 1-2 min of streaming. I haven't done any diagnostic on connections etc so will retry a bit later on and see if it is just transient.

If you had a failed upgrade then I'd recommend checking the SD card. That is certainly not to be expected.

We haven't had reports of Live TV issues recently with v18, but I'll keep an eye on it and do some testing here as well.

Has been noted there is quite a lag on the new cloudfront servers.

Especally on Duke..

Is anyone using VLC 3.01 they seem to have screwed up with it, the cloudfront links that worked fine on 2.26 won't even open for me in vlc 3.01

Just wondering if these streams play OK in Chrome for you people. When I try in Chrome it just downloads a small file, when I try it in Edge in works fine.

Looks like they've dropped the bitrate a bit.

I have edited the m3u and put up a temporary one until the main feed can be updated. I will not keep this up to date and will likely remove it.

Wife wants to watch Dancing with the Stars hence urgent edit!

Sorry I am now sure who to direct this at, but at one stage one of the Freeview channel files had channels for BBC, DWTV, Nasa, etc. but they seem to be gone now. Where they is Apsattv or Matt H's files, or another one?

How would I add them back in?

If you want to add/remove links or reorder them, you can also create a file and edit it and change the IPTV Simple Client setting to point to the file instead of a URL.
