Is it still the case that the Youtube app requires a geo-unblocker to work?

Considering one of these after the other conversation about plug and play XBMC boxes, but Youtube would be great as well. If the Youtube app doesnt work without an unblocker, what about the youtube plugin for XBMC?

(I currently have no desire to sign up for an unblocker service, nor any offshore streaming services, so wouldn't want to do so just to get Youtube)

Anyone noticed Hulu freezing at "Loading"? I am on Vodafone cable, UnoTelly.

Hulu working fine on HTPC and laptop, only not on Amazon Fire TV. Netflix, Amazon Instant Video still ok.

Had the same problem on my Apple TV since Friday. Hulu works okay on the ipad. Netflix is fine. I use Unotelly & Spark ADSL.

The official one is unavailable for me (using effectively Slingshot's Global mode), and when I tried side-loading the .apk from my phone it fails to load as it's missing some core Google services.

After I changed my Kindle account to usa I just found it on Amazons site and it installed from there.

Happening here. Unotelly and slingshot. Just spins loading at the top left.

You legend! Didn't even realise I could install apps to it remotely, guess it's just another android device so why wouldn't it.

Same problem, Hulu+ on Snap and Unblock-us.

Works on the AppleTV though.

Same results as @freitasm. I'm on Vodafone cable and Unotelly. On Fire TV - Hulu+ sits on loading screen, been happening since around Friday. Netflix and Amazon work fine. On Apple TV - Hulu+ works fine.

The problem comes and goes on my Apple TV.

Working at the moment and around midday yesterday, but hopeless Saturday and Friday nights.

I switched modems but it made no difference.

I have uninstalled Hulu and installed again. When it loaded instead of being presented with a login page it asked me to go to hulu.com/activate and enter a code (similar to what YouTube does). It is now working again.

I guess Hulu somehow changed login/activation...
