Same issue here- Slingshot VDSL with Global mode- Netflix (US) started having issues on Thursday evening, wouldn't stream at all yesterday- on Apple TV the wheel just keeps spinning and on PC I get a N8210 error. Signed back up to UnoTelly and changed to Netflix UK with DynoDNS which works but the UK content is much smaller and I suspect it's only a matter of time before Netflix UK does the same. I can still log in to Netflix US and browse the catalogue so I know I'm not Geoblocked persay- it sounds more like Netflix US has somehow throttled the stream to this part of the world so that it's unusable. Arse.

Makoura: @Unotelly Nick. I'm on TrustpowerUFB using unotelly. Hulu Plus works fine but I have a Static IP so can't really help I guess. Netflix still a no go

Trustpower's upstream is also Vocus/FX Networks so maybe a pattern here? is anyone using Telecom Orcon or Snap having issues?

Signed up for the UnoTelly VPN trial, and that seems to be working for now. Introduces another hoop (AirPlay to the Apple TV), but any port in a storm :-)

Is Netflix behaving for anyone? Similar problems here over last couple of days, but so far today is working again... Wondering if the success today is random luck and whether I'll need to start troubleshooting tomorrow?

I can confirm it works on my Snap connection but fails on my Vodafone cable.

If anyone could help Nick please contact him. I spent some time with him today on Skype and Team Viewer already.

I was having the same problems on and off for the last few days, and last night nothing was working anymore. I was getting the same error codes as mentioned before, unotelly was constantly re-directing me, and netflix would just hang while trying to load. My girlfriend was having trouble with her's too. I have a static IP so that wasn't the problem. Tried getflix, unotelly, and quickly hola. None were working very well. I was trying via my macbook air and my nexus 7 (if it helps, my nexus was giving me error code 0013. Clearing data/ reinstalling as suggested by netflix didn't help) . I switched my netflix region to UK and all of a sudden everything is working perfectly. Switching back to US, everything goes haywire. So this problem is localised to US netflix only. This might be why it's working fine for some people and not other, maybe? Anyone else want to try this? Hope this might help :)

ninja edit: I'm on telecom btw

I wonder if they're implementing some type of ping based throttle- anything above a certain threshold is obviously not in the US?

Perhaps they're targeting the main ISP's then? Seems that those on the lesser known ISP's don't have an issue. TPP conspiracy maybe? ;0

If it helps, I'd add to the data by confirming everything works fine for all other regions other than US.

Afe,

I think it works fine for anyone using a VPN. It's only DNS services that people are struggling with.
