no issues on my ipad2 on ios9

You have to load the program first before the cast button appears. Guessing it is older software. However there is no casting of live tv, unlike tvnz. 

Yeah I'm not live streaming - its an on-demand programm. 

Where is the cast button when in the program? 

Thanks that was it - but you have to let the advert run thru first because this option appears - bloody bizarre - they need to  developers who have a clue about user interfaces
