I've read Fleabag is available on Amazon Prime Video in NZ. Signed up for the free 30 day trial, registered the device - a Samsung TV - only to find I can only watch the trailer. Season 1 and Season 2 are 'unavailable in your location'. Have checked the settings - yes I am in NZ. Any ideas for how to make this work on Prime Video? Or any other streaming service for that matter ...?

Same here.

I've just cancelled Prime Video as I don't seem to be able to watch anything anymore...

I can definitely watch that program on primevideo on a plain vanilla NZ connection with no tricks or work abounds.

Just checked and watched fine. Like others, I would suggest something unusual your end. Vodafone no fancy anything and standard Prime Video NZ is my setup.

Thanks for the heads-up about the ISPs.  I sorted it!

It appears ALL the devices involved have to have the same location settings and in our case there were three devices all with different ISPs.   This morning I logged on to Prime Video on my laptop and was immediately asked if I wanted to change my location to NZ. (It was previously US for some reason.)  I did so and Fleabag is now suddenly viewable not only on my laptop but on the TV as well.

Hi,

First time poster here. I am a Prime Video subscriber (through Amazon UK) and am wondering why I get a geographic restriction message when I try to watch "Picard" when it seems most other people in NZ have no such issues. I can stream other programmes through Prime Video without this happening. I stream Prime Video on my laptop.

My ISP is Spark NZ.

I don't run any kind of VPN. Is this something I need to get?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Piccard is not available to UK and US Prime members as it is available throught its original distributor, CBS. In New Zealand it is available to Prime members with New Zealand accounts.

I just checked my settings in my NZ account and it had my default location as United Kingdom. Changed it to New Zealand and can watch it. Thank you so much for the help.
