Isn't level 4 already a form of MIQ, just inside their own house? Also is everyone who tests positive, put into MIQ?
The guy that was put into MiQ and escaped, was a 2x home close-contact isolation offender too. So potentially not.

I'd suggest that it's highly improbable that with all the publicity today that there hasn't been a single Maori family that didn't decide to hop in their car and head to the vaccine centre for prioritised vaccines since they know they don't need to book or wait. Are you suggesting for one minute that the fact that this isn't a good thing? Because that's what I'm hearing from you.
That is 100% pure apologist BS - and you damned well know it is - and was never the intention of Seymour.
Spinning it that way is also 100% pure politics.

James Bond:
If the NZH vaccine rollout numbers are accurate, we are just slightly ahead of Australia with 30.5% of eligible population fully vaccinated (as of yesterday).
Aus federal data (as of Saturday) says that they have 38% of eligible (16+) vaccinated.
I presume our ~31% includes the 250,000 aged 12-15% (very few vaxxed so far), but we'll still be behind.
I stand corrected
Batman: Any level change update?
No. As per other press announcements, talk about everything else first before getting to the point.
Delete cookies?! Are you insane?!
2 - All bar akl 11:59 tomorrow.
With schooling delay
woohoo
I don't think they covered contact sports, interested in knowing what the rules are going to be there. Previously L2 allowed this.
The covid front page is updated to reflect the level 2 section already. But level 2 section yet to be updated with her changes announced just now.
So expect copy paste brigade online to be going 'BS' before it's been adjusted.
this is what gets me about masks , you dont have wear them in eating places/restaurants or bars but in every other shop . What is the difference between a small shop and a small restaurant when it comes to covid spreading, covid doesnt care .
Common sense is not as common as you think.
For the current COVID case numbers are they stating whether they are in households of already infected people (i.e. there should be no further "leakage") or are true community cases between "bubbles"?
