I had my second infection a couple of weeks ago.

My only symptoms were a headache and a very slightly dry throat for a day.

I only tested because the headache didn't go away after a day, and I was due to visit my parents in the weekend. The 'T' line came up strong and proud.

Next day, no symptoms. No Cough, no sore throat like the first time in March.

Tested Positive on Wednesday and Friday, negative on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I'm putting that down to some sort of immunity from a previous infection.

Two people at work probably caught it off me (tested positive two days after I did). They really suffered through it. It was a first time infection for both of them. They're OK now and back at work thankfully.

I've had a recent bout of it so I'm probably still able to get away with the surgical mask and immunity, but anyone there who didn't have it before now almost certainly does after that.

I wouldn't count on that, check out the recent reinfection numbers/% (It's about 20-25%)

I can't understand why people insist on this fantasy that once infected and recovered, they are good.

Mother-in-law was talking to someone and was told "you should just get it and be done with it" - as if it would never come back.

Reinfection is a thing.

Quite, we don't expect to be immune to catching a cold or the flu just because we got one last winter....

This is what worries me. I have never tested positive for it, but you'd have to think it's likely that I've had an asymptomatic infection considering that I take the bus to work every day and socialise a lot.

At some stage this year have I been spreading it around blissfully unaware? I really hope not, but it's entirely possible.

When I got my last booster, they were handing out RAT tests like candy. I have a whole box of them. Maybe you can still get them for free.

Except that covid is mutating way faster than colds and the flu and is reinfecting people over and over due to this

That's I wanna know, why government ask us to vaccine more against such high reinfection rate?

Because it reduces the impact of the infection. IT may not prevent it completely but people with covid-19 might have a mild infection instead of a more virulent one.

FFS. Couple refusing to give baby 'jabbed blood' that could save his life | Stuff.co.nz

“We’re fine with anything else these doctors want to do – in their field they’re the best doctors for the job - but they’re not flexible and not educated in what we all know to be the truth, which is the blood bank is compromised now with vaccinated blood everywhere.”

“They want to conduct medical experiments on him with unknown results – we’re not prepared for that, we’re not prepared to just offer our baby up to experimentation.”

if it were them, they don't have to have surgery. unfortunately it's an ethical nightmare as the baby is not able to choose and it is likely the judge will decide.

Stuff have now suppressed the article: the link gives a "404" error and the article itself is nowhere to be seen on the Stuff website.

It was there, and now it never existed

The Herald headline is a lot less sensationalised.

The parents must have complained that they were being scrutinised.
