Anti-vax mob needs to be dealt with

Sue Grey should be disbarred, I am sure she will be feeding the scared vulnerable parents with conspiracy BS.

The child has already had one transfusion....

And I am equally sure the anti-vax mob will celebrate if the child dies because they can then blame the health system for the delays and how the parents we being so reasonable

and its all the governments fault.... etc etc etc.

Notice the SovCits -as in "Common Law Sheriffs" out in force as in the photo outside the court

I saw those morons outside the court today. Was going to give them the finger (I was being driven past) but it wasn't my car.

Of course I was being driven on a road that these "sovereign citizen" clowns probably don't want to pay for...yet their van has a licence plate? I thought they operated under their own set of pick-n-choose rules?

Utter utter idiots.  And Sue Grey makes me sick - reminds me of the dodgy ambulance chasing lawyers in the US.

I'm worried that the judge has reserved her decision and didn't just award the case to the health authority straight away.   If the decision goes with the parents, no reason for a free-for-all on other completely unreasonable requests "I only want blood from white people" etc - no less scientific basis for that request than the current one.

And the mother is a Midwife. Honestly.

Speaking of "lawyer" Sue Grey:

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/donor-blood-battle-crowds-gather-outside-auckland-high-court-ahead-of-hearing/DSTVOUSPWBAF3FLGJAAR7Q6CBI/

Justice Ian Gault interrupted Grey’s lengthy submissions to query what she was actually seeking aside from opposing the order.

”What are you saying should happen,” the judge asked.

Clueless woman, just as bad as her BFF washed-up former newsreader Liz Gunn.

Ha, I Love the irony that the Freedom loving "Sheriffs" decided to spent their hard earned money on a Van made in China...

Supposedly they have requested some form of injunction looking to 'order' the blood service to take a donation from a family member/person of their choosing. Were I the CEO of the Blood Service, I would 100% wear it as a badge of honour to not comply with that order if a Court gave it, even if it meant a couple of nights in the cells in contempt.

The desire to project your insane meritless grift onto a service and tying up its resources that could be spent on willing and grateful recipients is astounding arrogance. The sooner Grey is gone from the legal profession, the better.

I was oddly surprised to get a COVID app notification today. Apparently 1 of 46 people!

Have people kept their app or uninstalled it?

Kept

The PM messaging was clear if you took notice. Sadly most focused on the new 'freedom' instead

The stats still show people remember and agree to upload keys. But the figures are right down

Ah...midwife, that explain much.

Quite a few of them were anti-vax

There was this group "Nurses for Freedom" or some crap a while back, and they claimed "over 4000" nurses and midwives were on their side re getting rid of the vaccine mandates (when they were still a thing). Only later did it come out that the actual number was closer to "7".

I kept my app - no scanning obviously but still Bluetooth tagging around.

Interesting low number of notifications, with such a high number of infections.

Basically no one is entering their keys,

When I had Covid, it was the last step in a long-winded questionnaire that I filled out on a desktop because it was impossible to do on a mobile.

I was one of 80 people to do it for that day, but then that figure updated over a week later so I'm not sure how current it is at any given time.

It took a further day for my partner to actually get a notification that she'd been around me when I may have been infectious.
