I reckon 100 confirmed cases by the end of the weekend is reasonable to expect.

Seems likely unfortunately. Which is nuts. I didn't think it would happen that fast maybe 100 by end of March. Damn. Only speculating. But I think its highly like community spread has already occurred. We're probably already a few weeks behind the curve.

one of the cases of possible CT is the wairarapa but haven't said where due to it being a small place and privacy. Wairarapa is huge in area would thought they could say the closest town.

Doctor and nurses who will be saving these same people's lives in the coming months also have to shop at these supermarkets. We need them to also be able to buy what they need to live and not be inconvenienced because people are being greedy and only looking out for themselves. People need to calm down and shop normally.

Post the announcement on Newshub they went to a commentator to discuss it. She said when she was driving home last night, through Ponsonby, that bars and restaurants were packed. She says we arent taking it seriously, the public need to play ball.

There's an insane number of idiots in "The Public".

Todays midday news wont be any big lockdown or big measures announcement. Sound more like a reassurance appearance, which is also good

Just watched the MoH press briefing. I am struck by how close the deaf translator is standing next to Bloemfield. Is that a good look? Surely they could put her on the other side of the room and use an overlay or split screen to bring the images together. I also wonder about the gathered press. You can't see them but from the questions it sure sounds like there are a lot of people together in that room. Are they all two meters away from each other?

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

And we are trusting some of these, that they will self isolate. If there is CT, it has likely occurred because someone hasn't self isolated properly.

The Government CANNOT resolve this. They can manage and advise, but the only way it can be contained is the other 4.7 million of us doing the right thing. What is happening is anything good we are doing, is "despite" these idiots.

They've updated it now:

https://www.health.govt.nz/our-work/diseases-and-conditions/covid-19-novel-coronavirus/covid-19-current-cases

The above page now shows 53 cases, which is up 14 from yesterday's 39 cases.

It's also quite important to know if me and a 1000 other people have been sharing the Wairarapa train with them...

It also relies on us dobbing in people who are not doing the right thing and self isolating properly. Eg if they are shopping for groceries in a store, they shouldn't be.

It could be the people who are not doing the right thing that could end up costing the country billions and billions if widespread CT occurs.
