It's hard enough to get people to do what they are told "now"

 

It would have been impossible to get people to 'self isolate' / quarintine any eariler.

 

The only thing we might have been able to do eariler is - ground Planes - and ignore howls of protest.....

This article is alarmist, the disease can't be transmitted via sweat. If runners keep 2 meters their is no problem.

3 - 'Accurate Information' - depends on the value of the dollar, stock market, Trumps ratings

5 - State governors might become Democrats - a few Republican Governors are becoming anti-White House though
6 - Lachlan Murdock might get a spine and fire more than just one news reader (Trish Regan was fired when she said "in early March 2020 for dismissing the coronavirus outbreak as a Democratic "impeachment scam" against President Donald Trump." and ask for some real journalism as opposed to a mouth piece for the White House
7 - Trumps ratings = Fox ratings = Murdock dollars

 

Adding a new one and in all seriousness.

 

8 - Trump might think on a predecessor of his:

 

"and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal."

 

"It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us—that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion—that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain—that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."

This could easierly apply to all of this planets governments

 

 





Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Well, strictly Covid-19 is the disease you get from being infected by the SARS-CoV-2 virus so that headline is incorrect because they're talking about a vaccine, and not a cure for a person with the disease.

 

They have found what they think is a highly conserved region of the virus that they must think it also very immunogenic, and presumably common to all the strains currently circulating.  They're looking for funding to produce this protein/vaccine.

 

They could of course release the sequence they found and see if others agree, and are willing to manufacture it for testing overseas ... phase 1,2 and 3 trials.

It's not the sweat that is the issue, it's the greater volume and force of the expelled breath.

I claim no medical expertise but anyone getting excited too early about vaccines will do well to remember this fact: lots of seemingly promising candidates fall over like a deck of cards once human trials occur. Efficacy is important but so is safety.

More depressing news: According to RNZ, the trolls have found a new source of amusement by mocking the sign language translators on the daily briefings. I really wish it was possible to remove their hearing for a few months and see how they get on. What a load of miserable losers!
