The right decision is the one that will prevent the most added deaths.

Quiet frankly I can't see a move to Level 3 achieving this.

I can see what will happen at 4pm. No matter what happens there will be screaming. For every decision they can make, it will be wrong

Air New Zealand are not getting surveillance testing seems to be suggestion in article below?

Apparently if there was a cluster there it will not be publicised ?

Air NZ refuses to update number of cabin crew who have tested positive.
https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=1232580

Suppose that includes any essential service Airline.

There was just a 'quick' item on RNZ radio news that an air New Zealand crew from Vancouver were stood down due to potential breach of rules ?

Do we have more info on this ?

Yes we are all allowed to have our own opinions. Its probably not that often that for such a major decision that it will cause anger for every possible direction that is taken. The proof will be in the pudding in 2 to 3 months time when the virus is deemed to be eradicated from our shores. Maybe a bit longer to get every trace

The true extent of our success with Covid-19 will not be known until at least 2022.

I talking about the virus, not the economy (which I assume you are?) Sean Hendy says it might be gone in two weeks. Thats laughable.

Im not sure how long it will be after eradication for us to know its been eradicated.

That’s true from an economic standpoint, but if we do it right the success from a health standpoint could come a lot sooner than that.

I am talking about the virus that is why I referenced Covid-19. There is not viable treatment or vaccine and not likely to be available for general release for circa 18months. The economy is a different story.

When you referece Covid-19 half this country sees that as an economic then health issue, the other half a health then economic issue

A NZ professor said it might be gone in 14 days. If that did happen, Im sure we could confirm that before 2022. I feel we can may start considering that before 2020 is out, although, it would largely be case free before that. My opinion

Buzzfeed: Actress Ellen Pompeo, who plays "Meredith Grey", called out Dr. Phil And Dr. Oz for their comments about the Coronavirus

It's been a rough week for television "Doctors," to put it mildly. First, Dr. Oz caused a load of backlash after suggesting that schools should reopen if it would "only" kill 2-3% more people.

Then, Dr. Phil compared COVID-19 deaths to those resulting from automobile accidents, smoking, and swimming pools — using some very incorrect statistics while doing so.

Well Ellen Pompeo, AKA Meredith Grey herself, has spoken and she is NOT happy.

First, Ellen tweeted against people who were out protesting stay-at-home orders in California:

Los Angeles Times 'Live Free or Die:' Protesters march against California stay-at-home rules in Huntington Beach

"They didn’t get the memo that this isn’t about them ..so if any of them get sick they should be fine with just going home and staying home caring for themselves ...you don’t have the right to ask for help from people you didn’t care about when you were waving your flag..."

Then, she called out "old white guy TV docs" and said that she is "tired of out of touch old fools" — which, TBH, same.

"Also the old white guy tv docs who say stupid selfish sh_t should yes ...walk that sh_t riht back .to your lazy boys and sit your stupid asses down in your living rooms on your golf courses where you live..tired out of touch old fools don’t get me started today"
