Hemi88: I reckon the person who made that post on Facebook page should be charged because there’s people who are going to believe no matter what it’s disappointing at a time when we all should be working together

freitasm:They could invoke the Harmful Communications Act and get these people for spreading lies and bullying.
I cannot understand why having some tools at hand the government do not use them. Unless they are afraid of the opposition crying "our rights!"

Criticising you for repeated calls to "fire AB" is not refuting that errors may have been made. If you expect perfection in "everything" and the penalty for any failure is to lose your job, then "screeching Karen" fits.
If you think NZ is at risk of becoming a lawless banana republic - you're dreaming.
Because as a first world country we should just keep comparing ourselves to banana republics. People need to seriously get real: don't mistake "Not as bad as the USA!" as success or serious leadership. Asking people to not allow their department to run itself like some lawless gang (again, I do wonder how many of the AB defenders have bothered to read the Christiansen decision -- albeit it's probably above the comprehension abilities of 90% of NZ adults) or not to draw up policies and then completely ignore them isn't the same thing as wanting to fire someone for making a mistake.
But keep failing Reading for Five Year Olds. It's entertaining.
Never mind that he and the PM and many other less visible people have been working long hours every day for months under tremendous stress. Sometimes you can see the tiredness on their faces. I find them to be inspirational figures who deserve nothing but our grateful thanks.
Edit: This in response to the post by @Freitasm several items back. I missed a page.

Almost 2/3 never tested and the staff themselves outing concerns to media says the excuse of "we can't force people" was utter rubbish.
I agree this was a pretty bad answer given we're now forcing people under health orders to go into quarantine if they test positive.
Sending someone into quarantine is one thing, making them take a Covid test is completely different:
NZ Bill Of Rights Act 1990, Section 11
"Right to refuse to undergo medical treatment
Everyone has the right to refuse to undergo any medical treatment."

I agree people should have the right to refuse to be tested. I also strongly feel anyone who does refuse should be forcibly (if necessary) placed in quarantine at their own expense for the required period of time.
