I'm considering getting a pedometer for my wife, who walks a lot. There's no way she'd wear a watch, it would have to go in her handbag, pocket, or in a bag while tramping. We do a lot of steps/hills, so I'd want one that takes altitude into account.

Any suggestions/experience?

Fitbit one, can clip into a pocket, on the bra or in other places. really needs to be on the person though

Wife and i along with my parents have one, and they are pretty accurate in steps/flights of stairs (10feet = 1 flight)

What about a smartphone pedometer app?
There are plenty of Android pedometers.

My first ever AM radio network connection was with a 1MHz AM crystal(OA91) radio receiver.

My wife has a Moto G, which doesn't have the features my S4 has - S4 has pedometer and altimeter in it. If it can do it it'd be with GPS which uses heaps of battery.

Assume FitBit can integrate with popular websites such as MyFitnessPal?
