I'm looking for recommendations for truly wireless earbuds for my partner to wear at the gym (to pair with a Galaxy).

I've considered Jaybird run, but various reports are that the fit is not the best and they are prone to falling out.

I'm very keen for small profile and firm fit (for which I am prepared to trade off battery life), priced between $200-$400.

I’ve got the runs, and they work better with comply foam tips or the generic me or foam jobbies off AliExpress etc.
The tips are the same as the jaybird freedoms f2’s so if like me and you have both you can order the one packet.

I’ve also got the jbl reflect BT (that have a cord between the ear buds like the jaybird freedoms) and when used with comply foam tips they are by far my favourite, being both light and comfortable and having not yet fallen out.

Do you use the wings with your Runs? I had a pair of BlueBuds, but I could never get the wings to fit into my ear, so I ditched the wings, but then had trouble keeping the BlueBuds in place. The Runs come with wings, but looking at options online, not many other brands have the wings which makes me reluctant to go with the Jaybirds in case my partner has the similar fit problems?

Food poisoning, or a stomach bug? Get well soon. Don't forget to keep drinking clear fluids!

I’m very happy with my Air Pods, they work with non-Apple devices. Very light and convenient. Never had one fall out in normal use.

I got my son some Samsung IconX earbuds for his birthday. He does quite a lot of running and gym work and really likes them. They fit well and don't seem to dislodge during exercise and have touch controls. And can be used as individuals as well as a pair.
They are lower profile (closer fitting) than a lot of their completion, especially Bose and Sony units.

He has a Samsung S7 phone.
