But moving on, you see the Tesla at a certain level on various factors, I don't, or are cautious, that's all. No biggie.
tdgeek: So, the owner drove into his garage at 6mph then floored it? Seems unlikely.

But then you called the brake issue on the Model 3 a quality issue. Soooo, if you're calling this issue with the Etron a fault "that all car companies have" then you'd have to call the brake issue with the Model 3 a fault too, right?
Sorry but no, I don't think it's very typical for a department in the USA responsible for giving safety ratings to lie and put its own citizens in danger. They give cars from other US car companies (such as Jeep) worse ratings than European cars and they let you download a report with all the technical details on how the safety test was performed with detailed results. Unless you can provide some evidence that this is what's happening, this is a conspiracy you've made up.
No, I didnt. When you have a series of issues that's quality. When you have one, or very infrequent, that's a fault
Geez, stop the exxageration. I say enhance you say lie and put people in danger. Danger, thats sensationalism. If they say its the safest car in the world, and its not, that doesn't means it's a dangerous car. Your fanism is affecting common sense.
Lets move on
lol, "Enhancing" the results would mean falsifying the results ie. lying about the results. So yes, you accused the NHTS of lying, that's not an exaggeration lol.
I'd love to move on, but I'm not gonna sit back and ignore exaggerations and made up conspiracies.
Where is the evidence that American comments on an American car which has a very out there but locally popular American multi billoinaire shareholder, who may or may not have passed on election donations......................... I dont know that, neither do you, but we both know America is corrupt. And thats not just the current despot wannabee. So, we don't really know the validity of the praise. Especially if the brakes were dud
The brake issue was very early on in the production of the Model 3 - May last year. This was before the Model 3 was tested by the NHTSA.
It's your obligation to provide evidence that the rating is a lie and that the NHTSA only favours Tesla made cars over all other US made vehicles. This is your narrative and your obligation to prove - you can't just make that claim without evidence.

Man. You exxagerate everything i say for added effect. You said its legit and accurate, thats your evidence? What is your take on the status of American corruption?

I just wasted 10 minutes reading this thread. Seriously TGGeek, you are just stirring the water, maybe another thread would be better for you to participate in.
Yeah, this thread is going nowhere... And it would be nice if both could show the courtesy of not over-quoting - surely only the last reply is all that's needed? 11 pages and most of it's just you two bickering!

I have removed excess quotes most times.
Yes, lets close this off as I have already suggested.

Yep, that's a fair point; other guy is relatively new so may not have read the FUG.

I don't think the thread should be closed given the topic's still pertinent - it's just that it's been hijacked by you two; stop the bickering (or take it elsewhere) and then normal transmission can resume...

A. Its not bickering. Clearly a difference of opinion
B. Close this off as per the two of us, as I suggested, when I said we should move on Off course its not close the thread

@linuxluver - have you got any quotes for insurance premiums?
A quote I got from AMI was $1300/year

Was that SR+ or P?
Performance. AMI wouldn't do no excess glass cover due to the glass roof.

Thanks. Fair enough re glass cover!

The InsureMyTesla Insurance package on the Tesla site is underwritten by Vero
and has glass cover with no excess.
The normal excess for the rest of the car reduces after 90 days from 1% of its value to 0.8%
It seems its a fairly good package apart from you get full replacement value for 2 years or 40k
