Apple Supplier Foxconn to Begin Building Electric Vehicle Factory in the U.S. Next Year
I wonder how repairable they will be since they like using glues and non standard screws.
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.
That seems a little unlikely but who knows foxconn and fisker might actually produce a vehicle.
Its been known for a while that the Lexus UX 300e was coming, now we know when and that it will be sub $80K.... ( so ~$72K in the hand) ..
Bu will it be enough competition to tempt Merc to drag the pricing on the EQA under the feebate limit too....
"We will have our first fully electrified compact SUV this year, as early as next month, and that will be in the Lexus platform. That car will qualify for the clean car rebate. And we will then also have our first electrified vehicle in the Toyota lineup, which will be on the Rav4 platform, in the middle of next year.""
From April 2021
"Interestingly, despite the extra batteries, the UX 300e gets more boot space than its petrol- and hybrid-powered siblings, 367 litres compared to 320.
Lexus NZ hasn’t mentioned price yet but the current UX range-topper, the 250h F Sport, costs $73,300. A premium of $10,000 wouldn’t be surprising for the 300e."

If they get that in under $80k its a good effort here and compares well to say the mx-30.
I'm not sure Mercedes want to sell many EQA's

If it only was a nice EV. Small car, relatively slow CHAdeMO charger (1 hour to fully charge the 54 kWh battery), only about 260 KM real world range, and pricey for what it is.
Think the new EV platform from Toyota will be more interesting, and the bZ4X promises to be a faster car with a lot more space.
