I saw one drive past today with the personalised plate "NOPTRL"

Had a small chuckle at that.

With confirmation that the European gigafactory 4 will also have its own product design studio, it's possible we might see a Tesla wagon seeing that they're pretty big over there. A Model 3 in wagon form would be pretty nifty.

Does anyone know when Tesla Battery Day is? A friend told me this is upcoming soon, with significant battery technology advances being announced.

I wouldnt expect much of a change in the 3 or Y in the short term though, from a buyer perspective.

Pah, That's nothing,

In the inner city Wellington bubble, we have a Model X plated as "LRSENB" likely after the melting ice Shelf ,

And a Model 3 called "PROUST"- after the French Author

Owner being a bit pendantic. Strongly recommends getting long range model.

Everything wrong with my Tesla Model 3

Graham Stephan

After almost a year, here is my full review of the Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus

  • nervous about on-line ordering

  • minor paint problems

  • no floormats

  • Another nervous Los Angles owner complaining about too few super chargers, lack of chargers in rural California, charging times longer when not doing minimum charging (duh!)

  • range in cold weather (heater), of non-long range Telsa

  • occasionally automatic unlocking car doesn't work

  • occasionally rolling down window glitch

    Loves:

  • autopilot, in particular in city driving

  • more reliable, less maintance than ICE

  • even in US, electricity is cheaper than petrol

  • California only: Tesla car insurance from Tesla half the price, with better coverage

  • generous storage space

  • Tesla app: pre-warm/pre-cool car. Remote unlock. Find my car. Schedule maint. watch TV shows / play games in Tesla

  • over-the air updates

  • big screen

  • good acceleration

Taking the piss and tall poppy syndrome. Classic NZ traditions.

Still if it didn't cost the same as my remaining mortgage, I'd buy one.

Although the video is American so I guess it’s a popular pastime there too!

This guy is quite possibly part of the FUD that is sponsored by the ICE industry that is itself trapped in a no-win scenario by the advent of Tesla and its culture of high-efficiency, continuous improvement, engineering driven business model
