In peak traffic times, that simply isnt practical OR SAFE on some roads.



Prior to the bus lane in question being introduced that space was occupied by parked cars (may have been a peak hour clear way, I can't recall, but that area was conjested outside of peak time anyway.

In this light it is hard to argue that it is impractical or unsafe not to drive in the bus lane.

Sorry how is that not practical or safe? Simply because you don't want to sit traffic and driving in the bus lane might shave 30 seconds of your drive time?
