The Warehouse Red Alert had some good deals today, I was on there straight away to buy an LG L3 and a Huawei Y200 for Christmas.  But by the time you get to checkout they've all gone.. I wish they would somehow reserve them a set amount of time after adding to the cart, or impose a maximum order limit of two to try and limit the worst of the trademe blaggers.

They do...You must have taken a long time since adding them (10min+)

Are any of these pbtech laptop deals super cheap.  I have been thinking about replacing my desktop with a laptop, but I have no idea on prices.

I'm after a non gaming laptop.  Doesn't have to be ultra portable, as it will just be used around the home.

The Samsung Ativ Series 9 is a great piece of kit for that price, an Ultrabook with a 128GB SSD.

Got the email today with the full prices.  I keep forgetting these guys work their prices EXCLUSIVE of GST, something to keep in mind but still some good deals.  Scanned the advert several times and no mention of the sale being limited to any particular stores, so I assume the sale is across all branches.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

PB are also signed up for ClickMonday for Nov 25th so I wonder if the deals will be similar or dramatically different.

Their teaser email on 18th November said "The sale is In-Store only so get to one of our 5 Auckland branches, Hamilton or Wellington to save, save, save."

They have not repeated that statement so it certainly seems like it will be all stores.
