I got my cheap as ps3 last year no drama from noels at wairau. Will go there again this year and then hit up the jb across the road.

Otherwise I really have everything I need other then a builder who has time to do building and those don't go on sale.

trig42:
gmball: Anyone recall from last year if any stores discount Apple products on boxing day?

Im looking to purchase the new 27 inch apple iMac with 5K display, 10% off would definitely be worthwhile, 20% would be fantastic but very unlikely.

You might get a 10% off Apple somewhere. 20% off would be awesome (and other retailers would want to be buying stock at those prices :) )

10% happens quite regularly with DSE. The best I've seen so far is 14% off which they did in early November this year as an online only for an evening. Must have been very close to cost.

I'm not buying gaming at the warehouse any more. It seems they don't want me as a customer.

I was walking past the Warehouse yesterday and saw a courier dropping off 'boxing day DVD's' to the depot area.  I thought this was pretty funny considering the point of boxing day was to 'clear Christmas stock'

Stores often get in special stock, so it is not usually about clearing existing stock.

Guv: I'm hoping for a decent discount on a Webber BBQ - dont know if they ever discount them as they are the same price everywhere you see them.

I doubt if they will discount Weber BBQ's

I have one,  was a recent bithday gift , If its for yourself or a gift just make sure you follow the cooking instructions that come with the bbq, even it feels unlike what your used too .

Trust me you will be surprised how good things turn out :)

The Warehouse discounted them significantly last year. I'm waiting for the same this year to grab one.

And there we have it, hah. 20-50%. I'm guessing 20% off Weber.
