Its arrived, made Feb 2021 by Creality.

Great that it appears genuine, not a clone.

Thanks for the update!

Mine is labelled as "Shipped", but no tracking information on NZPost website yet.

I take it, with a Feb 2021 date it's got a 32Bit Motherboard onboard? Do you know what model the motherboard is?

Same with mine. Wonder if they are throttling courier pickups again so they are prioritizing the smaller boxes.

Hi, 4.2.x is a 32bit board.  Teaching Tech's wiring diagram is here https://imgur.com/a/gnus0r0

Did it come with the weird plastic bed?  I forget the name of the stuff.

Yes , its removable thin hard plastic covered in a rough black coating ( Buildtac ? ).

Overall impressions so far , seems much better quality than my Tevo Tarrantula .
One issue so far, is the bed rollers have a high or flat spot that is quite bad when pushing the unpowered bed back & forward
So may need some new bed rollers.

I'll assemble it Fri night. It wont take long , it mostly pre-assembled
Setup & tweeking will take a bit of time I imagine.

Assembled mine today, quite impressed with quality and completeness- all tools and even spare bolts, nozzle and bowdon connector.

Went together OK, used hints at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=me8Qrwh907Q as a guide. Noticed with z stop at default hot-end seemed to stop high when bed springs fully compressed.

Did it come with filament?

I don't have any so if I know I need some, I'll get some.

Not really enough filament supplied in the kit to be useful. Only about 10 meters or so.

Possibly it's garolite.  Maker's Muse did a video on it a couple of years ago but it wasn't a material I could find in NZ to test.

I'm not a fan of Tom for the mechanical aspects of printing.  He has a habit of propagating misinformation, such as when magnetic materials lose their magnetism, or what the physical properties of PTFE are and aren't.  If you have issues check out this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AN0MlQMMew0&t=15s

Fully compressing your springs just leads to distortion.  Tighten the springs up a bit and then move your z-stop.  I lay a steel ruler on top of the heater plate as a guide to where the beds going to be.  Definitely don't fully compress pressure springs, they're stronger than the bed is.  When you level your corners, do it after you've let the hot end and bed sit at printing temperatures for about ten minutes.  While you're waiting run the x-axis gantry up and down to make it settle out.  I find that mine always drops 1mm or more more after any manual intervention.

Also the standard coupler on the lead screw doesn't prevent the motor shaft and the lead screw butting up against each other.  You need to make sure when you install it you have a gap.  Or get one of these plum blossum couplers https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000275490774.html
