A Canon cheapie I bought to scan on wouldn't do anything till I put ink and paper in and let it print some crap that it then wanted me to put in the scanner.

My order for this printer has disappeared from their website. Yesterday it said 'pending' today it has disappeared. Other orders for other things I purhcased though display as shipped. So I wonder if they are now cancelling orders. I haven't received any communications from JB HIfi since the order receipt. I would have thought if they are cancvelling them, they at least are required to tell customers with an explanation.

I didn't receive any email, and my order has still disappeared from their websites account history. A pity they don't have an email address on their website for online orders.

You can reply to the confirmation email you got.

Thanks. I did that and about half an hour later got an  shipping email to say they have shipped it today. Now the order appears in my orders list again. Not sure what they were doing to cause that, as I have never had that happen before.

Good news.
Mine apparently arrived today.
On a different note - haven't got confirmation my cashback has been accepted for the first one yet.
Not sure what to think about that.

I did a Canon cashback for a digital camera about a month ago, it took about 2 weeks to get my money.

Its been all of 2 weeks, if that .. over Christmas to boot.  Think you need to be a bit more patient for the cash back.  My last Canon cash back claim was fast compared to other companies doing cash backs i thought at the time, probably 3-4 weeks, I forget exactly.

It's all slow probably because of all the Geekzoners buying them up! :P

Not too worried about the cash as yet - more about getting it approved.

I received my printer today :-)

Can anyone tell me whether one of the numbers on the sticker on the side of the box is the serial number?

Or do I have to take the printer out of the box?

I won't be using this printer yet and would rather save myself the hassle of taking it out of the box and putting it back in again.
