They would still need a reasonable amount of stock that is 80% off if advertising in that way.

Sadly I was hoping the Windows XP Pro Missing Manual would be on sale. It is STILL retailing for $54.99! Maybe in next year's Boxing Day sale....

Any fitness shops having a decent boxing day sale? I will be spending my day getting a treadmill, power cage and spin cycle.

kiwijunglist: 671 is not a good deal. Can get better in a sale.

$671 for the 42LB5820 is a good deal.
If you can get it cheaper in a sale, you are getting a great deal.

The cost on them is around $720-730 incl GST. Retailers do get rebates off those costs, but they aren't huge. A 10 percent rebate brings the net cost down to about $650, if you find one cheaper than that, it is making a loss and they will try pushing you to another TV or try and load you up with accessories/add-ons.

over $1000 as a RRP is a rip-off. It hink the RRP on them is about $849/$899, so showing them at before sale price of over $1000 is misleading and a reason why I don't shop at these retailer that always do that to make the %off numbers higher - Noel/Harveys and DSE often do 20/30% off TVs but they are starting at a much higher 'everyday' price than JB (and previously, the Good Guys). Briscoes and Rebel Sports (same group) do the same, but even more exaggerated.

Yup not a good deal can be a same for cheaper or much more for the same price.

Says 20% off these great brands, and lists basically every brand in the shop, with exclusions..

MightyApe has questionable 'discounts' anyway, seems misleading to me

ie I see a combination deal for Toffee Milks $19.99
https://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/Whittakers-Toffee-Milk-Bulk-Box-72/18267638

'Buy together and save even more'

Add Milkbottles Bulk 1kg - Rainbow Confectionery $7.99

List price: $34.10
Buy together: $27.78 (save 19%)

List price is their prices for 'elsewhere', in reality you are saving just 20cents from the existing MightyApe prices the items are available at, a ~0.8% discount.
