Harvey Norman has a LG 55" 4K Ultra HD Smart LED-LCD TV (55UB820T) for $1497, quite tempting, can't see many reviews of it online though?
Also a Philips Saeco Moltio Automatic Espresso Machine for $895 seems reasonable.

Buy the Sony Equivalent which will be similarly priced as I understand it.

Do you mean from Sony's online store or through a retailer? The KD55X8500B is coming up as $2,239 "Boxing Day Sale" price (25% off the regular Sony store price) in their online store.

It looks nicer than the LG, but I think I'll wait for affordable OLED or for the plasma to finally die, whichever comes first. :)

Stan: Things to expect:
55inch 4k tv 1500ish

49inch 4k tv 999ish

Based on rumors in the market place at the moment.

There'll be a few good deals around but only a handful of the really really good deals for the early birds. Those price estimates probably for reputible brands.

I was putting out way bigger deals than that last night ;o)

The Warehouse site has been down for me the last 2 hours "undergoing maintenance". Would it have fallen down from unprecedented load at/after 7am?

I was up at the crack of dawn (ok 6am :-)) and it has been down since at least 7am. Wonder what the deal is with it? Surely it can't be that busy?

ot showing a "buy online" option so does that mean it'll be available in store only? If so, meh. Who can be bothered physically going to shops these days :)
