I ordered one but not holding my breath nor will be upset if its cancelled as I don't really have a need for it just an impulse buy due to price. Pretty sure my world won't end if they cancel but one never knows.

A mate of mine went into JB Hifi and picked up 2 at that price and was told then it was a pricing error. I should lay claim to one of them but don't feel like depriving his mother of a new tablet.

wow i bet your mate is the ONLY person in the country who bought the tablet at that 'price error' of 48 bucks...

yes i was one of those suckers who lined up early in the morning outside Noel Leeming a few years back for those  HP Touchpads (remember that fiasco????) only to be told later they were all sold out..... but to NL staff members.... HAH!! Join the club everyone....

Think its just a matter of time before they all are.

Or it could be that 1 of the staff is having a really bad day and just cancelling the 1's that come up in their queue :P

I really just wished I could have got to the shop yesterday around 3.30pm.  Dam dumb under 20 fifa traffic lol

Do wish they would have emailed however, I had not idea until i looked up my order.

Just a "whoops we made an error on the price and can't sell it that cheap" email.

HMM..isn't there something in the contracts act, like the seller offer goods or services at a price, the buyer accepts and then pays, the seller is then obliged to supply the said goods or service?

may just look it up and see....... (BTW didn't get a chance to order one *dam*) so i've got nothing to win or lose here

This is kind of correct, they offer you accept and pay then they should supply the product, however there is an "out" if it is a genuine mistake.  They will also come back with "we have not taken the money and just put an authorisation on the credit card for the amount".  Which means you have not really purchased it until they charge it.

The biggest problem is they're having a "long weekend crazy deals" sale.

Having a tablet at 90% off is just a crazy deal isn't it? Doesn't seem like a pricing error as they said Crazy?

I suppose you could argue if your order gets cancelled but meh - I'll just let it go.
