Went outside and it was waiting in the carport. Opened and had a quick play. With how often it asks for my hotmail password im going to have to change it to a shorter one.

question, can you use a pen with it to write notes? does it come with one? Has anyone tried this?

Edit: dont worry found a comment on the MS Store that no it doesn't :-(

would have been nice for taking notes in meetings.

So does anyone else have a problem with the wifi dropping every few minutes on theirs?

I can be surfing fine then it just drops, says its connected to wifi but the connection changes to limited, however my phone is still working fine on the wifi

No issue on mine using my telecom hg630b

Well now that i am upstairs (away from the router) it seems to be ok, maybe it was just how much i was trying to do at once.
I really hope its not a fault as sending it back would cost way to much. However if it was hardware it would not be still connected to the network.

its so confusing compared to an android tablet when tableting on it too.

its so confusing compared to an android tablet when tableting on it too.

I had that while it was charging and installing the office setup.

buy the Asus or Dell 8" Windows Tablets, both of which have a proper digitiser on the screen

maybe switch over to a Microsoft Account rather than logging into every app/service individually?

for like unlocking the device it can be a pain, i put a pin on it so it does not keep asking for my long MS account password

you can of course turn off the password completely, or on resume/standby just like you can on iOS/Android et al

I prefer windows to android hands down on any platform so much more functional and refined.

I have had the same issue, thought it was the wireless where I am but no one else was having issues. Going to try different wireless networks today and see if same issue occurs.

I have had the same issue, thought it was the wireless where I am but no one else was having issues. Going to try different wireless networks today and see if same issue occurs.

well lets hope its not a bad batch.
I even changed the channel on the wireless to see if that made it better (it did not)
Mine did work a lot better when I was using it away from the router, however like I said before it was only having "issues" while i was installing and setting everything up. It was a lot better once that was done.

Since these are running Windows can I in theory plug in my usb camera device and view photos/videos etc like I would on any laptop? or would I need to remove the micro sd and then insert into my Stream?
