Quite a good price for a 12TB NAS quality drive.

The red plus uses CMR (better) rather than SMR.

I was looking at getting a 6TB one from Amazon from a few weeks ago when they had 30% off, but then the price went up so didn't buy it. Was looking around to see other prices and came across this purely by chance.

 

It does show up on their specials page

But, I don't see any option to get notified to those deals (as opposed to general specials notifications).

Just received my drive, very nicely packed. 

 

Interestingly, using the WD warranty checker and saying USA as country, the warrantly results  show warrantly until 28/1/2027.
