Thats a fair call. Hamilton may have opportunities as the race progresses, but you have Hamilton (cant afford a crash) Danny Ricc and Lando (I'll gamble a crash if its means a podium)

Jaxson:

I'd take any change to that at this stage, it's become very boring and predicktable.

I don't particularly like Max OR Red Bull but I see some parallels between Schumacher's first championship year and how unlucky he has been this year - getting turfed out of multiple races by Mercedes cars would have been an absolute scandal if the shoe was on the other foot, with a frothing British media who still can't help but try to paint Max out as a hot-head, when in reality Lewis has spent five seasons sulking on the radio despite having the best car on the grid.

It's really weird to me, the push-back on the idea that Hamilton might not have the best attitude or be the coolest under pressure. It seems like the only valid opinion is that he's some sort of god.

I don't get it because all the greats (and he is one) have had the red mist. Prost had it, Senna was all about it, Schumacher definitely had it and Hamilton has it too. Vettel bottled 2018 because of it and Alonso did the same in 2010. But only one of them is British, and 'flawed genius' isn't acceptable - they have to make out he walks on water.

Also, Hamilton fluffing his starts while under pressure is straight from his 2016 playbook and it cost him the title.

Commentators aka Hamilton fans, yesterday, were salivating at the thought of Max's upcoming engine penalty and sounded like they were very much looking forward to whichever race where that would take place

You can't take everything on radio literally. LH has reported his tyres had gone off before setting fastest lap. The radio is in clear so they must have all worked out some coded signals.

Not a lot about racing these days. Bottas has been praised for his massive Sprint Race win and quali. But most seem to ignore that he got all of his engine reaplaced for a new one, so he can take Sprint race points from Max, as Bottas is expendable. Use Bottas, throw him out in the race. But hey this is F1

EVERY race that happens, all manner if complaints, then his car automagically turns to gold. Im not a Hamilton fan, and its because of this stuff. Wasn't a fan of Max, too many dumb mistakes, but like all F1 rookies with speed, he matured. Now he is rock solid, no games.

I agree the uk sky commentators are a bit over the top but I tune them out.

Bit like nz rugby commentators and Justin marshal when Canterbury are playing. At least the rugby u can choose an alternative commentary or ref audio. I also get annoyed that nz commentators seem to forget we have a picture to look out so don't talk all the tine...

Commentators is some sports are shocking. I guess its more about clicks than sport. So, sport gets diluted over time to a financial event. When it doesnt go to plan out come the 23 excuses why.

Lol that would be the worst strategy.

Think about it.

Sprint race 3 points, main race 26 points.

great win for Danny Ric.

Title race heats up, Max to drop 3 grid places in Sochi. I have a feeling Lewis will win the title and retire, in a way it's 2 vs 1 as the have Bothas who is in good form.

Unless Bothas ignores orders and then Max has a chance

Those halo safety rings have proved their worth.... After moaning drivers saying they impaired their view.

Without them Gasney would have died in that crash last year either from directly blow or unconscious and unable to exit the fire.

And Hamilton might have died from Max rear right wheel comming down on him.

That race was way way better than I thought. Bottas was the driver of the day for me. Last to 4th !
