Well we made the 8. It wasnt pretty but Tigers have some amazing young kiwis who clearly werent going to die wondering with the little posession they had, long range tries were brilliant.

Our process worked though. But cant be making 5 errors in our own 40. Good on Tigers for making that a home game. 7 kiwis in their team.

about now is when Webster needs to start upping the anti, demanding more, start applying the strategy they expect to use against Broncs or Penrith. Both are very different, Broncos more like tigers, just adlib footy and broken field play. Penrith are a better version of us. But any team can win on the day. I expect we will win in week two and face one of the top two again. This is where I hope we learn and adapt.

Most are saying SJ will get the dally M, a lot think addin will get the Dally M prop of the year, crazy metres he made on the weekend, he is a machine. Definitely been the form Prop since about round ten and just kept getting better. But who really knows with the selectors.

Little needs to change. Watch the unforced errors, thats all. Past Warriors play stable footy, so were average to poor. Now they play a running game, flair, that will cause errors, I have no issue with that. Play to win, don't play not to lose.

Just good to see that despite our poor play at times, we're still winning the games we should be winning.

You know what annoys me most now?  Its not the fact that we have just slipped thru the win the last few weeks - no one will remember that after a while and I'm proud of the warriors for holding on to the top 3 spot!

They know they need to work on things and they will so thats all good.

No, what really annoys me now is that the All Blacks lost (Again!) and so now EVERYONE is a warriors fan!

Doing your best is much more important than being the best.

Metcalf out for the season, that will hurt

Tohu Harris out for this weekend, we can live with that, but Metcalf is excellent

Sure did, even more with TMM only having the one cup game. You can see the difference with a player coming back from injury. For me Volkman should be playing. Wow hes putting on a masterclass in NSW Cup, which should be live on FB tomorrow before FG game, one more win to the finals for them.

Weapons coming through like Ali in centre, unstoppabble with footwork and speed, bit like a young Lattrell. and Zyon, he is just fierce block of muscle at 8 who is unstoppable close to the line too. I think next year both will appear more.

Ronald Volkman faces his old club the Bears as he plots for Warriors NSW Cup success | NSWRL

Hes the key to the Clubs future not just NSW cup. 21 try assists and 8 of his own tries, that is good. I just hope we can hold on to him. He is definitely the replacement to Johnson, but he needs to be playing more FG with Johnson when he can like earlier in the year.

Taine is back in at FB. Watch for Ali Leiataua on the edge in centre at 3 and Zyon Maiu'u at 8 in the forwards, and of course Taine and Volkman. With no TMM or Metcalf, Ben Farr has been in at 6 and really looks good in the halves,

One more win and they in the GF, the NSW Cup team depth is a huge part of why the Warriors FG team made the to 4 too.

Yeah..... NZ Warriors NSW Cup team is our reserve grade team. Hugely important.

Ugggh anyway, they just werent offering enough on offense in the first half in the redzone, Bunty afoa was good but one out stuff. But after 18-0 half time in 32degree heat (glad first grade is in auck today) they came back to nearly take it losing 28-24. Just short of the grand final. Still good to finish 3rd this year and first grade also top 4. That is signs of a healthy club. Will see many of these players in First Grade next year. ali Leiataua is a given imo for a centre position, Pompey may slowly transition back to NSW cup...

Volkman was excellent as always, geeze I hope we have him wrapped up to replace Johnson after next year.

Yeah, Sky, Or me accidentally recorded a match, Bunty was there no one else, yes it was NSW Cup

Im time poor with sport, so I dont follow feeder series, but nice to now

Hopefully Warriors being faves tonight, will win.

Play to win, dont play not to lose

Webster is the difference. He plays to win. Last year Warriors commended for set completion %. Didnt help. Now its flair, AB's type flair. Play aggressive but not silly aggressive, the cream will rise to the top.

If they shut Ponga down, we should win. But after last week Im a bit shaky if honest. Still backing them, but need to bring defense intensity back.

Haha Johnson schools Ponga there, wow SJ, CNK scores within 90sec. Moving Ponga around.

Edit: yep Warriors have bought the intensity.

LOL saw your next post im recording as making tea, but good to hear

Last week, we were severely down on players. Playing the best team, im ok with that. Tonight, Knights are down player or two, we are full strength.

Wow Egan scores but ref sends it up held up as he blinds himself. This is the same issue in cricket. It needs to go up with no opinion from the ref. robbed.

NVM Johnson puts aFB through a big hole for a try.
