That last wicket from Boult was a gorgeous slower ball from Boult, swung and just hung up in the air leaving a batting face parralel which means the ball has to lolipop back.

Sorry, this is silly. Serious questions about the integrity of this game have to be asked.

In what way do you mean? Kholi sets seriously high standards and is known to get very mad.

Because a team doesn't go from winning with 80 balls to spare to 35/6. Not credibly, anyway.

The ball is moving something Chronic for Boult and hadnt in the Mount which was a batsmans paradise, in which I think a full strength NZ squad would have competed with India.

Now we are on a pitch that is good for batting, but also Spins a lot, and more importantly Boult is moving the ball in the air with accuracy. You take away their Captain and their second best most experienced iconic batsman and put it all together and happens. Is what happens when a swing bowler is on form. You have both Boult and Southee in the WC where it WILL swing.

Again thats just an AWFUL shot, all Colin has done there has bowled at the wicket, it hasnt moved, he hasnt fooled with a back of the hand ball. Yet its going to get him more attention than deserved.

We aren't talking the St Peters all-comers under 15 6H team here. The best batsmen in the world don't forget how to bat. They've just been in Australia, did the ball not swing there too? 40/7 is just taking the Michael at an international level, sorry.

Quite honestly no it didnt move a lot in the air, I think due to when they played and where, and Aus doesnt havnt great swing bowlers like Trent Boult. I admit the wickets to Colin are very much NZ like batting, ie poor batting and in Guptils case, 11/10 fielding. Also keep in mind Aus won the 1st ODI.

Also this Indian middle order is less experienced. So once the top 3 went, it was open carcass time.

There isnt much else to be said. Boult ripped through the top order and now players not use to having the expectation put on them are playing stupid shots to Colin D

I wonder how smug Kholi is feeling now lol.

I think the 1st 11 can rip through any team during the WC in Egnland due it suiting our bowling styles Swing and Wrist Spin (it will turn a lot there).

Guptil
Munro
Williamson
Taylor
Latham
Nicholls
Neesham
Southee
Sodhi
Fergusson
Boult

Santner
Colin D
Astle (I think this will be a wise move given the turn expected)
Henry

Congrats Trent Boult, best master class of swing bowling Ive seen in a long time in the short format of the game.

Lets not forget India were going to Bat first if they had won the toss :-)

Another thing about the WC, NZ has the 2 most ACCURATE swing bowlers in the world.

But another VERY big factor.

They will be using the DUKE ball. Not this Kookaburra ball.

The Duke ball is known to SWING significantly more. One feels like a cricket ball (the Duke), the other feels like a Hockey ball (the Kookaburra)

Lol INdian commentator getting upset with the pitch conditions. The pitch is a belter, you cant blame Trent Boult for atmospheric conditions that werent there in a Coastal Picth at the Mount, which is a very similar Pitch for batting.

They played 2 very loose shots to Colin D. Its that simple. The rest were just a freakish bowling performance by one of the best swing bowlers ever and ex #1 bowler over any variety.

Well India are in for a shock in England if they think it swings here.

So if Nichols doesnt score 10RPO he gets dumped?

His record in the last 10 is very similar to Munros scores.
