I really can't believe how thick some of his supporters are.

It's a self-selecting audience, "You must be at least this dumb to vote for Trump".

This is really low, I can't remember anything like this in my history of following American presidential campaigns:

https://www.barelytherebiden.com/ (setup by Trump and co)

Also: https://edition.cnn.com/2020/06/19/politics/donald-trump-tulsa-protesters/index.html - so much for "the land of the free", ie, free to protest peacefully.

I'm reading the book that Omarosa wrote after leaving the White House. Just started it but it seems interesting.

EDIT

The New York Times - Judge Rejects Trump Request for Order Blocking Bolton’s Memoir

21 June 2020

WASHINGTON - President Trump’s former national security adviser John R. Bolton can go forward with the publication of his memoir, a federal judge ruled on Saturday, rejecting the administration’s request for an order that he try to pull the book back and saying it was too late for such an order to succeed.

“With hundreds of thousands of copies around the globe - many in newsrooms - the damage is done. There is no restoring the status quo,” wrote Judge Royce C. Lamberth of the Federal District Court of the District of Columbia. ...

I really can't believe how thick some of his supporters are. Of course, if they caught coronavirus at one of his rallies they would be the first ones to jump and down and demand assistance.

I haven't watched the video, so I am replying more generally. Having lived and worked in the States and having traveled to some distinctly pro-Trump places, what I think you've gotta realise is that whilst a lot of his supporters are indeed very stupid people, some of them inevitably support him for what he's perceived to be/actually anti -- Democrats, immigrants, and [insert someone's favourite bogey]. The partisanship/"othering" of people in the US is such that, a lot of times, so long as you hate the right people, you're seen as alright in the eyes of a lot of these types.

Tickled with Sideface's cartoon above where it says, "All the lies in this book are classified!".

Wish I'd thought of that!!

"John Bolton: Judge rejects Trump bid to ban ex-adviser's book"

A US judge has rejected a request by President Donald Trump to stop the publication of a memoir by his former National Security Adviser, John Bolton.

The justice department argued that the book had not been properly vetted.

Washington DC District Court Judge Royce Lamberth said the government had "failed to establish that an injunction would prevent irreparable harm".

Six campaign aides of Trump tests positive for COVID ahead of his stupid rally. What can go wrong?

They should give out free bleach during the rally. DRINK!

Just heard a commentator suggest that the actual numbers at the rally are so much lower than the Trump campaign predictions because anti-Trump people were messing with him by ordering masses of tickets! I hope that is true. It would be pretty cool if it is. Trump isn't the only one who can manipulated the media.
