The national security state is in charge, they made those decisions.

That is the perfect example of neocon bipartisanship - the warmongering neocon bipartisan coalition in congress, beats the war drum, and has stopped the President drawing down troops.  Its insane.

The Russian bounty story, is deep-state propaganda, to derail the Taliban peace process and keep America's sons in Afghanistan for another 20 years.

Interesting, didn't know we had Inforwars/OANN viewers on Geekzone.

Not complaining mind you, just a bit surprised.

ROFL... Trump's campaign promises to protect Christ the Redeemer - which is in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Its difficult to understand what this has to do with right wing conspiracy theories

Instead of playing the man, feel free to play the ball - and please go ahead and correct everything you believe that I've stated that is incorrect.

Don't be so gullible as to believe there are not monetary incentives for the national security state to have continual wars.  Or even more gullible that the national security state doesn't exist.

  • Who did the Sec of Defense used to be a lobbyist for?
  • Who's daughter just led the bipartisan neocon warmonger coalition in congress to block the President removing troops?
  • Why do you think the Taliban need any Russian incentive to kill foreign troops occupying their country
  • Why do you think this story leaks at this time?
  • Who do you think this leak came from?
  • American voters have voted 3 times now to leave Afghanistan, but they're still there.  Why is that?

If you think I'm some sort of Pro Trump troll, Obama was also less powerful than the national security state, among other things he promised to end Afghanistan, and close Guantanamo, and if it wasn't for Obama I wouldn't have my "Don't Drone Me Bro" tshirt

The President is a puppet to the national security state

neb: In case you're wondering about the sort of people that would vote for someone like Trump: Militias flocked to Gettysburg to foil a supposed antifa flag burning, an apparent hoax created on social media Conman, meet target audience.

This is a perfect example of why polls are difficult these days.  Voters are afraid to say they did or will vote Trump because sweeping generalizations are sweeping

Most republican voters heard a story, that resonated, that explained why they had been getting screwed over

  • NAFTA
  • TPP
  • Shipping jobs to China
  • Against overseas wars that kill our sons, waste our taxes, and distract us from rebuilding our nation
  • a plausible cast of villains

    • globalists and elites who care more about profits than American jobs
    • immigrants flooding the country and taking jobs

Districts that were significantly more likely to vote for Trump included those that had:

  • automation job losses
  • more war deaths from Iraq/Afghanistan

The DNC, by choosing Joe Biden, are taking an incredibly reckless bet by nominating someone that can't campaign, and has nothing to say.

The Democrats have chosen to put their presidential campaign fate into Donalds hands - because of Biden's weaknesses, they can't affirmatively win a debate, they can only win, by default thru Trumps manifest failures - so far its giving them everything they need.

what is it exactly that you think I wrote that is dumb?

Rather than be attacked personally, I'd prefer to discuss the veracity of the facts I've presented; and the amount of brainwashing that must be required, for them to not seem believable :)

Ok, let's start with evidence for each of the claims you posted - the burden of the proof is on you. Links with factual information on each of your points, please.

And only link reputable news sources that have a policy for objective and independent reporting and are happy to correct inaccuracies.

The reason why find the concept of the deep state so laughable is that the GOP have shown themselves to be utter failures for anything resembling competent governance, to believe this massive conspiracy exists without anyone leaking it's existance is hilarious.

So I refer again to my above statement... put the pipe down as you've been smoking the Trump Kool Aid a bit too much and it's done something to your brain.

Critical thinking is required here.

I'm definitely not pro-Trump, and nothing I've said is pro-Trump.  If pointing out a US President lacks power against the national security state makes you Pro, then I also must be pro-Obama, for pointing out Afghanistan and Guantanamo.

Trump wants to drawdown troops from Afghanistan, but Cheney (yes that Cheney's daughter) creates Senate Bill to block it https://cheney.house.gov/2020/06/25/reps-cheney-crow-introduce-bipartisan-afghanistan-oversight-bill/  Her Armed Services committee had members demanding military plans to have the Russian GRU agents sent home from Afghanistan in body bags, it doesn't get much more war monger blood thirsty than that

I think you're all getting hung up on those words "national security state" & "deep state"

Of course the military-industrial complex exists.  Clearly the national security state exists, it uses 60% of discretionary federal spending

Trump is obviously a conman, but he's not as good a conman as the NSS.  Americans have been brainwashed, thru indoctrination, over decades to believe questioning the NSS on anything makes you unpatriotic.  Any military loss is actually a win, they get to rebuild a depleted military.  Conveniently the enemy in the Global War on Terror keeps changing

As much as the Democrats put-up Resistance-theatre, they give the administration virtually everything they ask for - the establishment of both parties has essentially been assimilated into the Pentagon and rubber stamps budget requests.  Both parties say they'll reform FISA, the NSA domestic warrantless wiretapping of US citizens introduced by 9/11 US Patriot act, but yet here in 2020 nope the NSS shuts the resistance from Congress down.

Critical thinking is that US voters have no choice, that there isn't a party of Dems or of Republicans, the bankrupt lesser-of-two-evils game we are forced to play, but just one party - of corrupt corporate centrists joined at their neo-liberal and neocon hips by perpetual, endless, forever-war.

it seems like "deep state" or "national security state" or "propaganda" are maybe trigger words that get you branded as a right wing conspiracy theorist?

I guess I'm a left wing conspiracy theorist too then, because this happened under Dems as well.  Obama was also part of the problem.  Biden was and will continue to be part of the problem if elected - he was the key enabler in getting Bush the votes he needed for the Iraq war.  Even more blood thirsty if he goes for Susan Rice as his VP

I resemble that remark :)

its weird how questioning what the meaning of a newspaper story is, gets so personal

All I'm pointing out is to maybe think more deeply about who benefits from an intelligence leak like that, and what benefits from the timing
