Looks like you can now get face masks for Trump supporters. This photo really says it all:

BarTender: What a cluster of a debate. Moderator was terrible, Trump was deranged and Biden respected the rules of engagement so let Trump run his mouth.

Next time they need to turn the mike off when its not their turn

So does anyone think Trump has improved since his first 2016 debate with Hillary, gotten worse or about the same?

Worse.  Trump was an unconventional outsider in 2016, but also pretty funny during those debates, but last night he totally misread the moment and forgot why he won in 2016.  Then people wanted to elect in chaos, 2020 we don't want chaos and Trump can't really even bring himself to pretend he's a leader

He came across as a man scorned to me, fighting (or arguing) for his life.

And a portion of America thinks this is fine and the sign of a leader? Please.

we know that ~40% of America, votes for their team, no matter who, whether a Blue potato or a Red lump of coal

I don't know how anyone wants either of those men leading the country.  They are really both pathetic, they're embarrassing and need to be in rest homes ASAP

Another termed it an international embarrassment for the USA.

why should an American voter care about what a foreigner thinks?  Do you care, about what Australia thinks of NZ?

Civility is not high up on an American voters priority list - living wage; healthcare; retirement savings; paying their rent, is

Anderson Cooper said Trump's performance was 'obesely immoral'.

Who cares what CNN says, we all know they are partisan hacks almost exactly like Fox - the media chooses sides, and they tell you what you want to hear, and think.

Anderson Cooper is a rich elite from the Vanderbilt family, with CIA ties

I believe most NZer's do "care" about how our country is perceived overseas.  Mostly we're fortunate or unfortunate enough to be left off the map.

It's not great watching the decline of the USA into fascism.  People like you expressing opinions that "both sides are just as bad" sabotage urgency to get rid of a tyrant and monster. Republican senators - if there are any who have a conscience - are thus far less likely to pull support for a true fascist agenda.

A few of us have been warning that Trump is a fascist since before the 2016 election.  That's been widely dismissed as hyperbole, if a US Trumpist policy affects matters like global health, trade etc, your critical opinion is dismissed as being hysteria - "Orange Man Bad".

I don't think you recognise the fact that Trump is a fascist.

This is the Commission of Presidential Debates you're talking about

A bunch of stuffy country club establishmentarian debate organizers who stick to Marquis of Queensbury rules aren’t going to save us from tyranny

Sure they'll tell us they're introducing  “additional structure” to the debate format “to ensure a more orderly discussion, but these are the elites that have rigged the debates designed to exclude 3rd parties since 1988

you are privileged to be able to care about those things the news media tells you should care about

because you already have free healthcare, unemployment dole, and government housing.  You are lucky.

Trump is as much of a fascist; as Biden is part of the radical left.

You're wrong.  Trump is a fascist, Biden is centre-right.

The Overton window you're looking out of needs a good clean. Nobody but a fascist would issue an order to an armed violent neo-fascist paramilitary group to "stand by" ready to fight against all civilian groups who oppose his agenda.

Saying "stand by" is idiotic on his part, but he is a dog whistle. Trump is literally not a fascist, that is silly and not helpful.

Armed militia groups are absolutely perfectly normal and legal here, on both sides, and both sides "have" them.  The right to do that is ingrained in the constitution.

There's nothing "dog whistle" about that statement.  It's an order.  The "Proud Boys" are ecstatic - they really do want to shoot "liberals", and they just got a message from the POTUS to get ready for war.

Doesn't matter what you "think" you hear.  It matters what "Proud Boys" etc do hear - they're the ones with the guns, a fascist ideology, uniforms, a history of political violence.
