While it's depressing to see election fraud proponents win anything, I take at least a little comfort in the fact that they don't make up the majority in this list.
The NY Times - Cassidy Hutchinson’s Testimony Highlights Legal Risks for Trump
29 June 2022
It was one of the most dramatic moments in a presentation filled with them: Just before President Donald J. Trump went onstage near the White House last year and urged his supporters to “fight like hell” and march on the Capitol, an aide testified on Tuesday, he was told that some of them were armed.
It was also a potentially consequential moment for any prosecution of Mr. Trump, legal experts said.
Knowing that his crowd of supporters had the means to be violent when he exhorted them to march to the Capitol - and declared that he wanted to go with them - could nudge Mr. Trump closer to facing criminal charges, legal experts said.
The extent to which the Justice Department’s expanding criminal inquiry is focused on Mr. Trump remains unclear. ...
... it remains unknown if prosecutors are looking directly at Mr. Trump’s own involvement in subverting the election or inspiring the mob that wreaked havoc at the Capitol.

Sensational. Now if only all the other Republicans were as brave as her. Despite being a Republican, she has my full respect for standing up to the orange buffoon and his cronies.
gzt: How does Ocasio-Cortez propose to do that exactly?
Not sure but I think the House can vote any member out.

Oh, look at this. After previously saying she was looking forward to meeting with the committee, suddenly a judge's wife has a change of heart. Something to hide maybe?

The Washington Post - Breyer to retire Thursday from Supreme Court, clearing way for Jackson swearing-in
today
Today, Justice Stephen G. Breyer* told the White House that he will retire from the Supreme Court at noon Thursday, clearing the way for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to be sworn in.
Minutes after the retirement is official, Jackson will be sworn in at a private ceremony at the Supreme Court, with Breyer and Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. administering the oaths.
Jackson will become the first Black woman to serve on the high court and its fourth current female justice, joining Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Amy Coney Barrett.
Jackson, 51, was chosen for the court by President Biden after Breyer this year announced his plans to retire.
